KBM Law attending AAJ Convention – July 14-18, 2023

This weekend, KBM Law is attending the American Association for Justice (AAJ) annual convention in Philadelphia, PA. At AAJ we look forward to engaging with other plaintiff attorneys similarly dedicated to tackling sexual assault and abuse in the music and entertainment industries. 

Karen Barth Menzies has represented many women who are survivors of sexual assault and abuse. She is eager to meet with fellow lawyers, advocates, and stakeholders to share knowledge and forge new partnerships. The power of networking and resource sharing is crucial in our efforts to combat sexual assault and abuse in the music and entertainment world.  

Recent convention appearances by Karen include a presentation on “Sex Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation” at the 360 Advocacy conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Karen also attended the Mass Torts Made Perfect conference in Las Vegas where she presented on the California and New York one-year window legislation. Both states currently allow survivors of sexual abuse to file claims for abuse that occurred at any time in the past.
