KBM Law Speaking at Trial Lawyers of Mass Torts in New Orleans – February 1-3, 2024
This weekend, KBM Law will be participating in the Trial Lawyers of Mass Torts (TLMT) convention in New Orleans, LA. At TLMT Karen Barth Menzies will be speaking at the “Complex Litigation Trials Tips and Tricks” presentation with Tom Pirtle serving as the moderator. The panel includes seasoned plaintiff and defense mass tort trial lawyers and a federal judge who handles mass tort and complex litigation.
Karen established KBM Law to represent sexual assault survivors with a woman-led approach. Karen is eager to connect with fellow lawyers, advocates, and stakeholders to share knowledge and forge new partnerships. The power of networking and resource sharing is crucial in our efforts to combat sexual assault and abuse in the music and entertainment world.
Karen’s recent engagements include a presentation on “Sex Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation” at the 360 Advocacy conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. Karen also attended the Mass Torts Made Perfect conference in Las Vegas where she presented on the California and New York one-year window legislation. Despite the closure of the statutory window for survivors of past abuse in these states to file claims, Karen emphasizes that the quest for justice for survivors remains open and viable.
If you’re attending TLMT Mardi Gras, let’s connect and share insights on these critical topics.
